2013 The Porsche-Cajun

It's no secret that Porsche is working on a new model to further expand its range in the SUV segment. In fact, the German sports car maker not only confirmed the vehicle but also announced that it is being developed under the working name "Cajun". Further details remain unknown including of course the Cajun's styling direction and whether or not it will be a three-door (most likely) or five-door model.

Nevertheless, Teamspeed member and rendering specialist Wild-Speed has come up with a styling proposal for the Cajun. The artist designed the crossover as a three-door model with a sloping roofline incorporating styling elements from the latest Cayenne, Panamera and the 918 Spyder (notice the head lamps). Land Rover Freelander 2: Second Generation-Land Rover Freelander 2 has made its world debut at the 2006 British International Motor Show. It will be sold in Europe retaining its original Freelander nameplate but will be marketed as Land Rover 2 in North America. And following its official debut there was an exclusive presentation for journalists held at the Kensington Roof Gardens. There were also some celebrities present at the Roof Gardens.

Land Rover have a solid reputation built upon durability, and with their development of easy handling and ride comfort it's not hard to see why this iconic brand has endured even as local agriculture has sadly waned. I felt slightly treacherous in my enjoyment of the journey in the Defender, but there's no reason why a classic design has to mean a sore posterior.

All too soon I found myself heading back towards the dealership, wondering whether the Series IIA would still provide the same fulfillment now that I knew what I had been missing. Whilst I would be more inclined to leave the more intricate servicing of the newer used Land Rover models to the professionals, I'm sure that given time I'll be rooting around under the bonnet for the smaller tasks that can be handled by a competent home mechanic.

I admit that I was fully won over, and signed on the dotted line with only the briefest moment of hesitation as I wondered whether the Series IIA would throw some kind of sulk. For anyone looking for a vehicle that combines off-road capabilities with on-road comfort, a used Land Rover could very well prove to be the ideal choice. If you get a chance to test it out on roads that offer slightly more challenge than the A1, you'll be able to get a feel for whether that particular model will be the one to take you up hill and down dale with the minimum of fuss.

Radical by dint of its low ride height and engineering solutions taken from the world of motor sport, this concept car is built around a one-piece carbon chassis incorporating a separate two-seater cockpit located at road level.

The 207 SW is also seen to follow the footsteps of the 206 SW which has become the best selling estate car in the French and European B2 segment starting from its introduction in 2003. The 207 SW compared to the 206 SW has benefited immensely from the generation leap since it will be able to expand its target customer base with a number of new features.

Peugeot's sale forecast for the 207 SW:
Peugeot is expecting that the first full year of 2008, the 207 SW would at least contribute 18 percent or 98,000 units of the total sales of the 207 models. The breakdown of sales will be--petrol to contribute 44 percent and diesel to put in 56 percent.

Commercial launches
The 207 SW will be simultaneously introduced in July 5, 2007 in France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, and Portugal but will be made available in July 12 in Germany. For the other European markets the vehicle will be launch in September.

The advantage of the 207 SW is that it will be entering a market segment that is continuously growing, increasing from 26.2 percent of the total European market to 30.5 percent. The model mix has also changed significantly during this time. The hatchback models has decreased from 95 percent of the B2 segment in 2000 to 82.4 percent in 2006 on the other hand the people carrier models have increased from 1.8 percent to 12 percent, cabriolets have also rose from 0.1 percent to 2.8 percent while estates remained steady at 3 percent with only a slight increase to 3.6 percent last 2004.

The extras you can get for this car are surprisingly many, and it is hard not to spend more money on these than on the car itself (which, incidentally, is very cheap). With everything from Barbie make up holders to sports pedals and Italian flag badges to a soft top it can be very easy to spend a lot more than you thought on your new toy.

Putting aside looks, this car is quite a good run around, but take it out of a city environment where long distance driving becomes inevitable and it may just be slightly too uncomfortable. A jittery drive and slightly cramped conditions may not make it the best car for commuting long distances. The pros are plentiful though, and a test drive will help you to decide if you can put up with any flaws. Ask your car dealers for a longer test drive than usual so that you can really get a feel for it in many different areas. If you do decide to get this car though, one thing is for sure; you'll be in good company.

Porsche aims to perfections. You have to remember that this is a big car. It's about 4.90 meters long and the wheel-base are about 2.90 meter long. So it will maximum comfort wherever you sit in the car. Two adults with kids or four adults in the car, it really doesn't matter because they will all sit good and comfortable in this luxury car. The engine will be placed in front because Porsche want to make big room at the rear for a good capacious baggage of at least 450 liters.

All that we know is that the German car manufacturer aims to create a completely new structure of the production on the new Porsche Panamera. Something has to be different and something has to stand out of this car.

The Porsche Panamera is said to come to production in 2008, but we have to wait and see. There are a lot of nice exclusive four-door cars out there right now. Just for example we have the BMW 7 serie, Mercedes CLS AMG, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Maserati Quattroporte, Rolls Royce Phantom and the list can go on for ever. Well, what does this have to do with Porsche Panamera? Well, the only think I know is that all this other models brought something new to the table, and therefore Porsche has to do the same. They have to do something new to the Porsche Panamera that the others don't have, something that make you think "wow". But at the same time Porsche haven't made us disappointed I guess. We just have to sit here and wait.

The KIA Picanto model in Europe

The Picanto model in Europe was altered slightly in late 2007. Among the minor changes were the light clusters (front and rear), and for the UK market, the indicator stalk was switched to the other side. For the Italian market debut the new bi-fuel LPG version with 1.0 and 1.1 engine.

The DAILY TELEGRAPH recently wrote an article/report highlighting the regular abuse of British laws happening blatantly on the streets of London by drivers of foreign registered motor cars entering the city centre. It has been investigating a trend of high powered performance and executive cars being parked illegally on the streets of London's Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Belgravia and Edgware road Marble Arch. The culprits, as the Daily Telegraph called them, get away with this blatant disregard to the law because they simply can and there is no law apparent that can be enforceable by any traffic warden, police officer or special units working with TFL (Transport For London) such as the force called TOCU (Transport Operational Command Unit) who are responsible for the anti touting operations in Central London in conjunction with the LTPH (London Taxi and Private Hire) formerly known as the PCO (Public Carriage Office).
